Hosting an intimate event with your friends and colleagues is an amazing way to get involved with the California Innocence Project (CIP). As an event host, you can invite your network to your home, or another venue of your choice, to meet CIP staff and hear our exonerees tell their stories. The CIP team can assist with creating invitations and flyers, handling RSVPs, and more. Planned Giving
Leave a legacy to the Project through your will or trust.
All it takes is a quick phone call to your lawyer to add a charitable gift to your will or trust, using the language below. Please let us know when you add the California Innocence Project to your will or trust so that we may express our appreciation.
Will Language:
“I give to the California Innocence Project, located in San Diego, California, [the sum of $______] OR [ % of the residue of my estate], to be used by the California Innocence Project [for its general purposes] OR [according to a statement of intent previously agreed to by the California Innocence Project and me].”
Trust Language:
