Ways to Support
See the many ways you can help us free the innocent below.
Help spread awareness and raise funds for our work.
Hosting an intimate event with your friends and colleagues is an amazing way to get involved with the California Innocence Project (CIP). As an event host, you can invite your network to your home, or another venue of your choice, to meet CIP staff and hear our exonerees tell their stories. The CIP team can assist with creating invitations and flyers, handling RSVPs, and more. If you are interested in hosting an event in support of CIP, please email Jasmin Harris at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Make a difference by giving gifts of securities.
Gifts of securities are a wonderful way to contribute to our fight to free the innocent. To give a gift of stock to the California Innocence Project, please email email@example.com.
Make a greater commitment to innocence.
The California Innocence Project’s (CIP) Justice Society is a donor network for individuals who are interested in criminal justice and innocence-related issues. Members will be given monthly opportunities to develop their understanding of the criminal justice system while connecting with individuals with similar passions and interests.
The only requirement for joining the Justice Society is to make a contribution of $50 per month to the California Innocence Project. Individuals who are not able to make a gift of that size are encouraged to find a corporate or individual sponsor to cover their donation. The full $600 annual gift is tax deductible and will enable the California Innocence Project to continue their important work of exonerating people who are wrongfully incarcerated.
